IT bushings

I on my ITS GTV6, I have a SZ Dedion bushing, heim joint adjustable
watts linkage with a poly center bushing, rear sway bar with Energy
Suspensions bushings at both the body mount and end links, front Shankle
sway bar with their poly bushings at the body and Andy Kress' special poly
end links ( these are really trick pieces that Andy has developed - worth
several tenths over stock end links). The Caster bushings are poly from IAP.
I would like to try the poly upper a-arm bushings as even new stock units
seem to have a lot of flex.

Has someone really looked at the stock lower a-arm bushings? They
are steel bodied with a small plastic insert. These are really tough
bushings. Heim joints may be better in theory, but what is the cost to
replace the stock bushings , machine a heim bushings to the right OD, and
how often will these bushings need to be replaced. The 116/162 chassis needs
several other fixes of unobtainium racing parts to make it more competitive.
I would spend available monies on other areas of the car.
