Dear fellow Alfa Folks,
I'd like to thank all of you who tried to help me with the reference point 
sensor and my ever grinding starter. I finally figured it out!
I had the reference point sensor fall out of the tranny, but could still put 
it back in and start the car, for awhile.
The starter began to grind, so I thought that the sensor had to be it! 
WRONG! I had lost the middle "shoulder bolt" on the starter. The starter 
will grind with out it!  I called International Auto and for $3.50 I am on 
the road again! THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!!!!
