Satellite Navigation Queries

Anyone know where to get the Security Code from for a Sat. Nav box for a
166 ?

 

Or why it should sit there with 'please wait' displayed, before allowing
entry of the code ?

Do you need to move the car to restabilize the gyros ? or pick up a
Satellite signal ?

 

Any help would be appreciated.
