Headers and emissions

I was going to go into a long diatribe about the whys and whatnots about this subject, but James Montebello hit it right on: as a review-
1) headers can cause a delay in the catalyst lighting off, may still even pass a garage test, but most of your cars emissions are while the catalyst is not working (like 90% of it)
2) even if they did NOT delay, the process to certify aftermarket parts can be difficult, especially in California. You may not like this, but you do live there.
