Re: spider radio (NAC)

get the low TV channel on FM. In my neck of the woods, that is channel 6."

The European FM band goes from 87.5-108 MHz as opposed to 88-108 MHZ in most
other parts of the World (notable exceptions are Japan and some previous East
Bloc countries). The allocation of TV channels in the US is such that the
sound carrier of the channel 6 (no matter where you live) is located at 87.75
MHz. Some radios sold in the US market tune all the way down to 87.7 MHz,
which means that you can catch the sound of TV channel 6 if it is use in that
area. Channel 6 is in the VHF band and often used by affiliates of the old big
three (ABC, CBS, NBC).
