George, with all due respect,  may I *politely* suggest that you tell your 
girlfriend -- however wonderful, warm and loving she is -- to BUY HER OWN 
SPIDER, ferchrissakes?

The coupe and the spider are two  t o t a l l y  different cars, remember. 
Auntie Tessie predicts you will regret the trade immediately, and if 
by some wild unseemly stretch of the imagination the girlfriend drives 
off into the sunset with a new Porsche boyfriend (with a Boxster), you 
won't be out twice.

This said by someone who... admittedly... has her friends' sportscars 
stored in her driveway and the keys in the keybox behind the front 
door (in case she wants to sneak out for a drive).
