loosening GTV6 rotor bolts

Richard-

The main problem with the gtv6 rotor bolts as that they have a very short head, and they are quite tight. You can't get a socket on them and most combbo or box wrenches have an offset or angle to them which makes them slip off the bolt head easily. Once this happens the bolt head corners are rounded off and no wrench will work. I have a set of Mac box wrenches that have no offset and work great for theses bolts...but without one of these you just have to hope they are not too tight. After you have rounded the bolt heads so no wrench holds you can cut the bolt head off with a hacksaw or sawzall and then the rest of the bolt usually screws out by hand.
