Re: wax residue on black surfaces

Instead of worrying about getting wax on the plastic, use the correct stuff 
and do it on purpose.   For years I have been using Meguiar's Step #2 Polish 
followed by Meguiar's carauba wax (paste).  In keeps the plastic parts as 
well as the metal parts looking like new.  (no financial interest)>
