Re: MG looks

<> Alfas are MUCH more beautiful, MG's "ain't that bad." >>

Dont wish to get into this argument as most of it is quite immature. Besides
Porsches have always been considered the best sports cars ever built and
certainly superior to any Alfa in performance and build quality. With respect
to the MG, the new sports models are also very attractive cars and have sold
a lot in the UK. The new TZ (?) sedan is also getting rave reviews in the
auto press and is also a nice looking car. However the new MG does not come
close to the Elise or even the new Vauxhall Vectra roadster for looks and/or
performance, and the new Fiat Barchetta in absolutely gorgeous. A cross
between a Miata and the Toyota sportscar (MR-6?). And in coupes/sedans the
new Maserati 2600 and even the Peugeot 507 (PininFarina) makes all the latest
Alfa models look pedestrian (with the exception of the 147 which is an
extremely attractive small car and the Brera which is something to drool over
but out of our pocketbook capability - $70-80K estimate with Caddy engine.)
