what do I know about lights?

On the GTV^ with the turn signal problem on ONE SIDE: check to make sure the
bulbs are good, are seated and making contact, and all contacts are clean,
etc. If that doesn't work, it may be the switch relay.

On the dual-pod spider, there is a little curved cowl that SLIDES over the
turn signal indicator between the speedo and the tach. This is meant to
slide toward you to remove and push forward to keep it in place. If you push
it forward and it won't stay in place, you might slide it all the way off
(while you're there, clean up the little green lens and contacts), squeeze it
slightly to tighten, and slide it back into place.

Otherwise, get a new car because there is no way to determine what is wrong
with it and your only hope is to scrap everything you have and start over(<
this is the Win XP type of suggestion).
