re:Sport Sedans and all that

John...all I gotta say is that I am in deep trouble, because I am taken a
back by just about EVERY Alfa I've ever seen. I'd take a 105, 115 or
116...whatever, I want of all of them. I didn't think I'd want another
Milano, till I saw a nice Verde like my old one, nicer than my old one. Now
I have visions of Verde's dancing in my head...next to the visions of 67
GTVs twisting through the Santa Cruz mountains! I blame it all on my father.
If he hadn't have owned Alfas since before I was born, none of this nonsense
would have happened. Now my wife is in on it, we're doomed! I still have the
pics of my dad's old Giulietta Spider...the memories of the "3 cars in a 2
car garage" (71 Spider on the left, 67 GTV on the right with the stripped
GTC suspended from the rafters over it!)...my dad related to me (at the Palo
Alto Concourse) that he passed on a Sprint Speciale that some guy had for
sale down the street from his then girlfriend (my mom). He was afraid she'd
get mad at him for buying it! HA!

Anyhow, yes, your mileage will vary, we all should BE so lucky!
