Most spin-on aircraft oil filters have a tab or tabs for safety-wiring them
to the engine proper, to prevent loosening. I haven't seen any Alfa street
filters with such a tab, but maybe some racing filters have them?  This
wouldn't help the 1750 and earlier engines, though, with replaceable-element
can-type filters.
