CSC exhaust system report

On my 83 GTV6, I used to have the Euro downpipes, standard (stock?)
center section and a rear Ansa section. This system seemed pretty good,
but was becoming a bit blatty sounding and maybe louder as well.

I noticed the CSC systems mostly from EB Spares. While I would have
liked to have the headers they sell, at 765 dollars to my door, they
have to wait.

But, Mike Kristick was able to source the center and rear sections
from CSC and had them shipped over.

Very nicely made, with reinforcing plates welded where the large pipe
enters the rear exhaust canister, as well as reinforcing the twin pipes
exiting the center section. Fit was very good, it went on easily and
in the right places. The only negative I noticed was that the black
paint was thin and easily scratched off, so I removed most of it and
resprayed with engine black paint.

So, for sound quality, its very different, quieter but still making
very good noises when revving up. They have different rear tips
available when ordering, I chose the single tip design. I am pleased
enough I would buy it again.

Ciao, Jay
