poly trailing arm bushings

One reason for switching to urethane bushings is they are so easy to replace again later. I have torn up trailing arms trying to remove the old stock bushings. If you do not support the end of the tube the bushing fits in, you can tear the tube out of the trialing arm. My normal method of using sockets as tools for the press did not work.
I finally made a set of mandrels to press them out. Pretty simple if you have access to a lathe.

Can someone on the list share some details about replacing the bushings
on a Spider? What all is involved? Any special tools?
       Thanks!
