Re: LS brake pads/O2



General consensus on brake pads for the 164LS for street/moderate performance 
use is that the Mintex pads are best for the front and possibly Axxis for 
rear. Less dust and better stopping power than original AR pads. I have just 
ordered some for mine - $41.04  from Imparts, with sensors. 
Now can someone tell me how hard/simple it is to change the pads (front 
only). I imagine one has to remove the caliper off the rotor and support it - 
and then what?  Use a C-clamp to compress the pistons and if so, what size 
clamp should I buy ?
Secondly I need to change my oxygen sensor which appears to be a worse job to 
do than brakes, in a driveway. Having a bad shoulder, dropping and even 
removing the cat might be a chore, and where exactly is the connector for the 
pigtail ? Looking under the car, there is no way to see the wires prior to 
removal, so where do they go  and how are they accessed ?
