V6/V8 engine transplants

I don't have the information to hand but someone in Eire fitted the 24V 3L V6 alfa plant in the AR 145 hatchback (was a 2L t-spark)
And there is an alfa speciliast mechanic somewhere in the south of england
  who has fitted a montreal engine (ie V8) into his pickup truck
He says it makes collecting spares parts for his business more interesting!
