Used transmission for '76 Spider

Husband fortuitously discovered (pre-disaster) that the casing for his
transmission is cracked and starter is hanging by a thread. So... down to a
one-Alfa commuting couple for the near future.

Anyone near DC have any hints on where to find a used transmission for a
much-loved '76 Spider?
