It's part of an alarming trend towards actually skipping the concept
vehicle stage and going directly into production.  Concepts are supposed
to be styling exercises not production prototypes but the North American
car companies have forgotten that.  Everything is starting to look like
those wacky drawings in Road and Track.  Blame Chrysler.

Have you seen the new Thunderbird in the flesh?  Gawd awful.  Especially
in that teal/powder blue.  Talk about pimpin'.
