Formula One Controversy

Looking at this from a bussiness perspective, the end goal of Formula One
racing is public relations/advertising. If you make a decision that
pisses-off your fans and causes controversy to be associated with your
products, it was probably a bad decision.

In the spirit of sportsmanship it wasn't a good decision. From a team (ie.
bussiness) perspective it hasn't worked out so well. If the points race was
close I think the fans would be OK with the team-orders decision. In this
case it was excessive and deprived Rubens of a well deserved win after so
many disappointments resulting (at times) from his number two status.

One thing that hasn't been talked about much in this discussion has been
Rubens ' performance and attitude this year. With all the problems this year
he has kept his head up and maintains a mature and honorable attitude.
Performance wise he is proving himself as a great driver.
