Shankle Torsion Bars for GTV6 - Help!

I need a sanity check. When I put the suspension back together, my front end
was about 3" too high. Rotating the torsion bars per the instructions at the
front and back will require going around more than once. Logic dictates that
anything more than once around will not work. Therefore I figured rotating
only the A-arm up one notch would lower it about 2.25". Problem is now I
can't get the bolts in and clear the A-arm. I have been putting weight on a
bar to get the A-arm to rotate down, but it won't go down any further without
rotating the whole car!

These are the big 27mm jobs so I have to pull the A-arms off each time I get
it wrong.

Did I rotate the A-arm the wrong way? Can I go more than a full 360 degrees
on the bars? Help!
