California Mille Expo

This Sat. and Sunday is the start of the California Mille when all the 
players arrive and park in front of the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. If 
you want to see some very exotic and expensive machinery plus some rare and 
not-so-rare Alfas, as well as meet their drivers, there should be 100 or more 
contestants and show cars on display. For those who cannot afford the $50-60 
and more to go the Concorso Italiano later this year (self included), this is 
the next best thing - and it's free ! Sunday pm is best time.
Re- the Concorso, Fiat-USA will be showing their new Alfa Romeo GTA 
Sportwagon there, according to the brochure. Looks about the size of a Volvo 
V40 wagon and even more attractive and ideally sized. Maybe that will be 
coming here soon .....
