Re: steering box replacement



Hi Greg:

At the very least, the steering shaft itself is different on the top 
end.  The older Spiders (and other 105/115's) had a single keyway on the 
end of the shaft, which serves to lock the steering wheel in place, while 
the later ('86 -on) had a splined shaft end.
