RE: Air pumps, tattoos & rear engined cars

Where's Eric Storhok??  I don't understand why you'd have an air pump 
on a car with no cat.  Was the idea just to dilute the exhaust with 
fresh air to lower the percentage of pollutants coming out the 
tailpipe?  That's pretty lame.

The issue with the tattoo is that I share most of the negative 
opinions of tattoos that Adam and others posted to the digest, so 
convincing myself to get one is a bit of a stretch.  And speaking of 
stretching, if I don't remain really skinny all my life, the cross & 
serpent might get pretty distorted, which wouldn't be cool.  On the 
other hand, I can't imagine why I wouldn't want an Alfa logo 
impregnated in my flesh forever.

Has anyone ever thought about putting an Alfasud motor in a Porsche 912?
