Illuminated GTV-6 Window Switches

The answer to the question of whether the '86 model illuminated window
switches will work in an earlier GTV-6 (including the illumination) is
"yes."  I have them in my 1981 GTV-6, they came from an '86 parts car.
If they don't light up, the internal light may be bad (its just a bulb
wired from hot to ground, so its always on when the ignition is on).
You can replace them, but it takes a lot of fussy work to get inside,
plus a soldering gun to make the connections.
