Abarth Alamono

I was poking around eBay at lunch today and I came across this 1959 Abarth
Alamono.  It looks very similar to a 750 Spider.  Was this penned by Pinin
Farina?  Does anyone know anything about these?  I'm not looking to buy one,
I'm just curious about the car.
