Heavy Duty Springs for 105/115 Series

Ben Bishop asked about the details of the Ward and Dean Street Springs for
the 105/115 series. Here are my notes from the units I installed on my '89
Spider along with a set of Shankle Sports that I also measured (sorry for the
mixed mode English/metric).

			W&D	Shankle Factory
			Street	Sport
			========================
FRONT
Wire Diameter 21mm	17mm	16mm
Windings 6 1/2 5 7/8	6 7/8
Wind Diameter 137mm	135mm	136mm
Height (Unload)	10"	11.5"	12.5"

REAR
Wire Diameter 13mm	13mm	12mm
Windings 12 1/3	14	12.25
Wind Diameter 111mm	116mm	116mm
Height (Unload)	14"	15 5/8"	18.5

I don't know the tensile strength of the steel used on each set and I
won't even hazard a guess at the spring rates. Perhaps if someone on the list
has that, they can share it with the rest of us. I'd also be interested in
other domestic HD springs (Centerline and Rugh?) as well as non-US centric
parts.
Does anyone know what the spring rates (kg/cm or lb/in) are for any of these?
	 Cheers,
Charlie
