Still FS: 1984 GTV6 Maratona

My 1984 Maratona is still for sale (after being burned by 2 deadbeat
bidders on Ebay). So the Alfa digest is the only place I will try to
sell from now on! Here are the details:

91,000 miles, new silver metallic paint, new MAS Italy 5-spoke rims
with new tires, custom leather interior (silver & black), european
exhaust, lowered suspension with Konis and anti-sway bars, Alpine CD
stereo w/ Blaupunkt speakers, new A/C unit from Milano, K&N, zender
rear spoiler, new plugs and racing wires, new driveshaft, donuts &
mounts. Timing belt and major service done at 75K.

The good: the car looks great, and drives beautifully, engine is very
strong, there are no problems and it has been meticulously maintained.
This car needs absoulutely nothing, it has served me well as a daily
driver in every kind of weather. 2001 New Hope Auto Show 1st Place
winner.

The bad: not much. There are a couple extremely minor rust spots, each
no bigger than about 2 square inches. Only noticeable upon close
inspection. surface rust only. Overall, however, the body is
perfectly straight, with no dents and no accidents. Also, the new snow
tires do rub a bit at full steering lock. No big deal, but whoever
buys the car might want to put some new rubber on come springtime.

The price: $6,000 or best offer. There aren't too many GTV's out there
in better shape than this one. It is a rare Maratona, and it is a
headturner. If you are interested, I can e-mail pictures. Hopefully I
will be able to sell the car to a true Alfista. I have too mnay cars
right now, so this one has to go, eventually.
