As always, Scott writes a novel with all the pros and cons ;-)

I run 195/65-14 on a 6" Cromodora Daytona, really nice and IMHO the widest you
should go on a 6" rim for street use. If you are using Turbinas of 5.5" width
185/70-14 is IMO a good overall choice.  Racing applications are way
different, and so are the tires.
