       For years now I have been mixing a little "Whisk" liquid detergent 
with my washer fluid.  Takes that film you are talking about off right now.  
Only problem is it causes little soap bubbles to travel down the side 
windows!  And on my Duetto which has a leaky vent window seal, it causes soap 
bubbles to float thru the air inside the car on occasion!  But, I can see.
