Historic Festival of Racing - South Africa
I thought I will just tease the Digesters, in my previous post, with the
two pictures I took of the 156 Sportwagon.
However I would like to mention that these pictures were taken at an event
we had over the weekend called the "Historic Festival of Racing". Historic
racing cars and motor cycles from as far as England and other parts of
Europe competed in various races on the race track. Even late Jim Clarke's
F1 Team Lotus took to the track! I took a total of 150
photographs on the day with my digital camera but what I would like to
share is the experience we had of seeing a rare 33 racing in a few events
during the day! I also took a couple of photos of an 159 in the pits but
this car did not appear on the track.
Lots of Bertone GTVs and Alfetta GTVs did very well in their classes
throughout the day!
Have a look at:

I apologize for the slight blurry pics on the racing 33 as I am still
getting to grips with the digital camera (new toy!). I will leave the
photos on the web site for a few days before pulling them off again.

Phill
