re: do I recall right? Milano oil leak
hi peter,
charlie is right - two oil pressure sensors, the one ewe replaced for the gage is in the walley, & prolly not leaking. check the back of the drivers' side cylinder head for the idiot-lite sensor, which prolly *is* leaking! ;~) on the 3.0 in my gtwe6, this leaky sender filled the walley w/oil, dripped on to the exhaust, & made a hell of a stink, before i replaced it. nuttin' to plug the sender into on the gtwe6, tho; if i had the correct size bolt, it wooda been a cheaper & more long-lasting fix...

I seem to recall there are TWO senders at the rear of the engine, not too
distant: one is for the oil pressure gauge, the other for the oil pressure
idiot light. Through the mists of memory, I think they're both on the
driver's side in a conventional layout, on the passenger side if you enjoy
Brit drive. But no matter where you are, or what your local driving
practices, either or both can leak. Before suspecting something more
complicated, make sure all the simplest, easiest, (OK, Alfisti: cheapest)
possibilities are investigated first.
