Alfa Six, Alfetta and Jetta

The Alfa V6 Sedan, not sold in North America, was quite a bit bigger than 
the Alfetta. The cars are appear similar, especially around the doors. Any 
chance the V6 Sedan was just wider than the Alfetta Berlina but otherwise 
identical?

The Alfetta looks nothing like the First Jetta, which was a Rabbit with a 
trunk grafted on. The second generation Jetta looked somewhat like the 
Alfetta in that it had a relatively high trunk, but the two would not be 
confused even by the uninitiated.
