re: speedometer error

my speedometer reads low too. kinda fun though.  :)  stopped it reads 14 
(the peg is there), at 40 it reads 31; 60 reads 45; anything above that is a 
guess (all are mph). i have only managed to get it to read 85 in the last 
year, and i had stopped accelerating at that point, so i know i was moving 
pretty good. allegedly. i've had it repaired 4 times, and have since given 
up. i only know the "true" speeds because the cops watch for me for some 
reason. oh well. is this not a normal thing?

when i think about it, i guess when i drove to Canada last time, with the 
speedometer showing 70, i musta been hauling ass.... no wonder i made such 
good time.... allegedly
