Your problem sounds electrical.  Have you done, or had someone do, any 
work on the car that would have made the negative battery cable come 
disconnected from the body (or not reattached properly)?

Seeing that this problem only happens when the car is in motion, it 
suggests that it is vibration related.  It could also be a loose 
connection powering the main fuse block since you apparently lose power to 
everything (not just the engine).
