Are you sure? It was my understanding that the NS formula was *for*
limited-slip applications ("NS"="non-slip") and that it differed from
the others in that it lacked an extra-slippery additive that Redline
puts in all their other oils. The idea is that the extra-slippery
formula is too slippery for conventional friction-based LSDs to
properly get their friction on. The debate has always been which to
put in non-LSD Alfas to get the most out of marginal synchros. For
an LSD transaxle, such as your Platinum, it has always been my
understanding that the NS formula was the only way to go. Someone
correct me if I'm totally wrong, please.
