steam cleaning interiors

I need to clean the upholstery of my Milano.  After 13 years of use, the 
tan/grey colored interior is a lot darker than it should be.  Otherwise, 
it's fine, no rips.  I was thinking about having it steam cleaned.  Has 
anyone done this?  How did it turn out?  Is it safe for the upholstery?

I am curious to hear about any experiences with this, good or bad.
