Robert,

You will want to use the various products offered by 3-M.  They have the
most complete and capable system available.

I wrote a short story on the process of cleaning up old paint for

Please check the 3-M website, there are links in the Velocissima story, for
suggestions and directions as to using their rubbing compounds.  BTW, NAPA
offers these product in "retail" bottles versus buying the big quart
bottles.

You really can do wonders with an old finish and I am no expert at this
process.  Too many people take an old car and immediately slate it for a
repaint.....
