Stacy,
My 78 Spider had a similar rattle some time back. It turned out to be the downpipe from
the exhaust manifold to the cat. This downpipe has a outer cover on it to act has a heat
shield for the actual exhaust pipe. This cover had chacked is several places and would
cause the rattle.
