84 alfa spider interior door handle repair

Hi,

Thanks to all of you who helped me with my spider drivers side window repair
a couple of months ago. It turned out to be electrical which is much easier
to repair
than mechanical in my opinion.  I have just noticed that the interior door
handle
on the same side does not bounce back like it use to preventing the door
from
closing.  Is there an internal spring that makes the handle spring back ?
How does
the mechanism work.  I am trying to avoid taking any more of the door apart
than
I have to including the window glass and am sure you will all understand.
The book
does not appear to be to detailed.  I have oiled the outside mechanism and
that
has not helped.  Does anyone know how the system works ?
