It's told that he really didn't care to build raod cars.
He build road cars just to sponsor his racing departement, but 
he really didn't care at all, and was willing to leave that
division whenever the good chance showed up.  When Fiat 
bought Ferrari, he wanted them to leave full decision power
over the racing division, beacuse that was what he only 
cared about.
