My parts books show the two sumps as being used on many models (Sprint
GT, GTC, GTV and Duetto) interchangeably. I cant find anything like
alfa part numbers on the sump or pump.

The parts catalogs dont mention what dimension the 18-28 mm refers to.
I located 3 105 sumps. Outside, all 3 measure about 1 7/16" (36mm)
from the joint to the bottom of the fins at the front center, so I
assume they are all the same. Inside, one measures 1 1/8" (28mm) from
the joint to the inside bottom, near the drain plug. So, perhaps I
have a deep sump and the measurement refers to the inside depth.

The difference John mentions in the sump tops may relate to the oil
temperature sender - one has a sender fitting and another does not.

I'll take John H.'s suggestion - just make sure there's reasonable
clearance between the pickup and the sump (at least 1/4"??).

What is Catalogo Rapido?
