RE: Fuel Pressure light

Usually, this means the fuel filter(s) are plugged or the fuel pump back by
the tank has died. The fuel pressure light measures the pressure of the
fuel before it gets to the SPICA pump, so it should not be the SPICA pump.

If you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn on the ignition, then it is
probably a plugged filter, likely the tank filter. You can mail order one
of these from the usual suspects, or get a standard 1/2" fuel filter from
your local auto parts store. I have a list of part numbers somewhere for
this filter which I can dig out if you need it. My local NAPA store seems
to usually stock one of them and I even think I recall that their number is
FIL 3299. Most of the other national suppliers (AC Delco, WIX, etc. ) seem
to have a cross-reference for this filter but NAPA is the only one who seems
to stock it.

Subject: Fuel Pressure light

Hi,
My 'Fuel Pressure' light went on the other day, and gradually it lost all
power. Could this possibly be related to:
A) SPICA
B) Fuel pump
C) Fuel filter
D) None of the above
Thank you,
Pat
