Flywheel position (again)

Thanks to those who replied to my first query but I haven't gotten the
answer I need so I'll be a bit more specific and see if anyone can help me.

I had my Spider engine balanced by Sammy Hale in Novato a couple of years
ago. Project Alfa got put on hold for awhile and although the engine has
been together I'm just now getting around to putting the flywheel on and I
can't remember what Sammy told me. I haven't been able to contact him
either.

So here is the situation. this is a '72 SPICA injected engine and the
flywheel can go on in any position. There is a factory mark that normally
would align with #1 but there is also a green mark put on the flywheel by
Sammy that doesn't correspond with any of the alignment marks he made
between the flywheel and pressure plate.

So it's a toss-up. I'm leaning towards using the green mark but if any of
you out there have any somewhat educated guesses as to which way to go I'd
appreciate the feedback.

TIA
