Re: alfa-digest V8 #212 - Alfa scale models

Several people suggested various web pages as sources of Alfa models
in general. The suggestion to look at the centerfold of the October 2001
Alfa Owner was the only on that bore fruit on Mr. Murphy's very specific
request. There is indeed a Berlina model offered in Alfa Owner from the
South Florida AROC chapter and www.modelexpo-online.com.
However, a model of the 83 to 90 Alfa Romeo Spider has not been
located. These spiders are also known as Series 3, "Duck Tail" or, as I call
them, the "Rubber Ducky" due to the sponge rubber spoiler. I have looked
without success in catalogs, web pages and on eBay.
Does anyone have SPECIFIC information knowledge of a scale model of
the 83 to 90 Alfa Spider? All other Alfa spider models seem to be available.
I know they exist as I once saw a partly assembled resin (I believe) model
of an 84 spider on eBay. I should have bought it.
