       I had the same problem with my '84 GTV6...overflowing reservoir, along 
with massive loss of coolant.  I tried a few things including changing the 
temp sensor - but as it turned out, all I needed was a new reservoir bottle.  
I had the original one in there - it was very interesting to compare it with 
the new one that I got from IAP...cracked, warped, you name it.  This may not 
be the case with yours, but checking that first would have saved me a bit of 
headache.  Good  Luck.
