Re: alfa-digest V8 #195



I was in Switzerland two weeks ago and I got a good close up look at the
Smart car.  I can see no way that this vehicle can pass US crash standards.
There is no room to put in a crumble zone.  While I was in Switzerland I was
happy to see that Alfa's are relatively popular.  I saw a couple of Milanos,
a bit more 164's and lots of the newer models.  The small hatch back/station
wagon model was quite common.
