Re: alfa-digest V8 #191

Ed:

Do you by chance know Fred Knetsche? Fred has owned a business in Columbia
named Cates Cottage (after a land mark on the Isle of Man) since the late
1950s. It was originally located in 5 points but moved out to Garners Ferry
Hwy around 1970 or so. Fred has a lot of Ducati and some MV Agusta parts
(many brand new) and, I think, a few complete bikes in pieces (he may still
have a Norton Manx). One of the bikes is an old Ducati Formula III 350 desmo
that I rode for several years in my late teens.

It's been several years since I visited him but last time I saw him he was
working elsewhere (machine work) during the day but still kept his cluttered
old shop where he did odd jobs and stored all of his old bikes and parts.

Kind Regards,

Roger
