re: Milano heater valve

Chances are, your heater valve is working as intended, but the control
cable has stretched or slipped a bit. The valve is located above your
brake pedal. Rotate the heater knob while looking at the valve and you
will be able to see the lever move. Turn the control knob to the closed
position, then reach in with your finger and push the lever. You will
be able to move it further than the cable did and the valve will close
completely. Problem solved. If you want to reset the cable clamp, it
can be done, but is a bit more of a chore, just make sure the valve is
completely closed after your adjustment. If you don't use the heater
much, I'd just close it by hand.

If you have trouble locating the control valve, just run the car with
the heat turned up for a bit, turn the car off and feel around above the
brake pedal, the valve will be hot and very easy to find. Good luck.

Best regards,

Neil
