APE

When I was in San Francisco the week of June 4th I went out to APE's new
location. I had problems finding and called them on my cell phone. The were
courtesy and gave me directions to their shop. When I arrive they were
busy, however they took time to talk to me and let me look around. I did not
buy anything on this trip. When I travel and go to cities where there are
Alfa suppliers I like to stop in and introduce myself and meet the people
face-to-face so I can put a face with a voice, just ask Alfa Bill and the
people at Centerline. I try not to get in the way or stay to long as they
have a business to run. Except in Alfa Bill's case we went to lunch, thanks
Bill.

I've emailed APE a number of times for prices and availability on parts, and
have purchased from them. Most recently was for a pair of fans for my 91
Spider. I received a reply the next day with a fair price, I called them
that day, it did take three try's, but if their busy than I know they will
be in business the next time I need something and don't mind getting a busy
signal when I call.

All and all my experience has been very good and will continue to buy from
them when I need used parts or don't want to pay for new parts.
