Speaking of $95k Alfa's
Gosh I wish I worked for a (really big rich) company who supplied DSL /
T1 / T3 Internet connections to their employees so that when one goes to
check out a $39k Duetto, one gets somewhat more than an inch of image in
over fifteen minutes of waiting.
Pray tell, what does it look like? Good, bad, indifferent?
I've hopped up on this soap box before, but sure wish someone on the
Digest would buy it without haggling and then say what a good deal it
was. (Not holding my breath).
Does make it difficult when someone buys an Alfa for less than a $k,
then absolutely can't believe it's going to cost, "How Much to restore
it? Why, it'll be worth less than half that amount when we're through!"
And (sigh) it's all too true.
So go out there and bid high. Perhaps it'll end up selling for over $50k
and a major new Round-Tail selling price will go in the record books
(making $39k look miserly).
